In fact, Pinterest has always been my favorite platform for long term growth when it comes to finding leads for myself and my clients.
It's relatively easy to grow your brand on the platform, when you have a defined strategy.
Here are a few key areas to be mindful of to help you get leads on Pinterest.
Know your audience, their pain points and the content they want to read.
Optimize your Pinterest profile because your bio is your introduction to your dream client consuming more of your content and eventually clicking through to your website.
Create click worthy content. Whether it’s blog posts or video or a podcast, create eye-catching pins with awesome titles that your dream client can’t resist reading more about. make sure it’s content they will save and read more about.
Be consistent. Pick a scheduling routine and stick to it. If you only blog once a week you can use a scheduling program like Tailwind to keep your boards fresh with new content.
Pin descriptions. I’ll repeat this a thousand times you’re allowed 500 characters for your pin descriptions. Use them all. Describe your blog post in as much detail as possible and make them have them have to click thru to your website
Keywords. Use them everywhere - board title, board description, pin title, and the pin description. Do a keyword search on Pinterest on your topic. Pinterest will generate a list of keywords you can use.
